Buxton Water Return to London

Buxton Water have been tasked with the removal of approximately 80 cubic metres of concrete at around 1.5m in depth from an existing foundation slab at the Ballymore and Eco World Joint Venture – London City Island Development in central London.

Recent contract awards stretching from the highlands in Scotland down to London highlight that Buxton Water remain competitive countrywide in the hydro demolition field.

Buxton Water Ltd Estimator Kevin Dunne commented:

“It’s pleasing that we can finally release the details of this contract as it’s been a long collaboration between O’Connor Sutton Cronin (Consulting Engineer), Ballymore the developer and ourselves. The scheme has gone through a couple of revisions and we now hope to commence works early next week. We look forward to the challenges that a project of this nature presents in central London and to establishing a strong working relationship with Ballymore Group.

The contract award confirms that we remain competitive across the country; it has always been our priority to ensure that we remain competitive across all markets and areas of the UK. The contract award at London City Island is a significant, high profile award for Buxton Water. The addition of this new contract also provides future business opportunities with Ballymore as they have long been established as a major developer in the London region.

Recent awards cement our position as a major player in the hydro demolition sector as we continue to provide our clients with excellent value; high quality workmanship and most importantly delivering projects safely and on time.”
